And this is about our project . Not much but it's ours and it works ...

 

IT'S A ... ROBOT ARM

It's a robot controlled by a computer , the software supports joystick control and network control and that is pretty cool because a camera can be attached to it. The commands are sent using the parallel port, and the circuits that control the 5 stepper motors are all placed in a black box.

And some technical data about it :
- is controlled by a computer , the software supports mouse and keyboard control but using a joystick is more fun ...
- has five degrees of freedom
- uses five stepper motors ( these were collected from old printers ) for moving each part
- it can grab things and move them
