IT'S A ... ROBOT ARM It's a robot controlled by a computer , the software supports joystick control and network control and that is pretty cool because a camera can be attached to it. The commands are sent using the parallel port, and the circuits that control the 5 stepper motors are all placed in a black box. |

- is controlled by a computer , the software supports mouse and keyboard control but using a joystick is more fun ... | |
- has five degrees of freedom | |
- uses five stepper motors ( these were collected from old printers ) for moving each part | |
- it can grab things and move them | |
